Today was step one in getting my Rubi back to stock to give back to FCA.

My hubby took off the steering stabilizer and track bar and put the OEM parts back on. I did my usual fetching of sockets, setting of torques, and cooking of ribeyes...

Finally finished my steel bumper instal. Had to wait for almost two weeks for 4 nut/rivets to install the skid.
Not bad a $100 Steel bumper. I picked it up from kheidolph for a bargain. Great guy.
Fixed it up in a day. Not perfect, but not too bad considering I only used a vise.

Installed the Quadratec Premium Vinyl Hood Blackout Decal today on my JLU. The main reason, the Sun reflecting off the hood, which bothers my eyes, as well as, it looks cool.

I decided to have a local professional do it, KRay Industries, which specializes in vehicle body wraps, since I would of probably messed it up. The owner is a fellow Jeep JLU owner, and he did an absolutely beautiful job. I had him add red pinstriping around it, to make it a little different, and it really helps it to stand out, w/the Sting-Gray background.

Driving it, it now makes a big difference when it comes to the Sun reflecting off the hood. ;)

I've also added the Bushwacker 14093 Trail Armor Hood Stone Guard, which was really easy to install, using double sided tape.

I'm also in the process of installing a Btech Mini UV-25X2 Dual Band Transceiver (2m/70cm), having installed both the Topsy Products JL Fender Mount NMO Antenna Bracket, and their Universal CB Mic Mount - JL, each of which, require no hole drilling, and a Larsen 2/70 Antenna. I'm waiting on a back ordered Quadratec Quick Disconnect CB Radio Mount for the radio.
If we had sun in Vermont , I might do the same thing !

That looks great! Any reason in particular you retained the lower trim on the fender flare? Asking bc I’m awaiting the AAL liners, but have begun work to remove the flares and plastic liner in prep. I think I will remove the lower trim. I’m curious how you removed the factory liners without screwing up the plastic fasteners / rivets that line the lower trim piece on the flare?
