Love the American Adventure Lab stuff. I ended up winning the compressor bracket, the platform and the 6” drawer at the winter4x4 jamboree. It is so awesome. I am debating on weather or not to keep the platform and drawer though. Not quite sure it fits my setup. The minute I saw them post it after SEMA on their site I ordered. It was a long wait but they knocked it out of the park and they kept me updated along the way when they had delays letting me know they were tweaking things or waiting for parts to make it just right.
The install was and instructions were solid. Only minor tweak I needed to make is unclipping the wiring harnesses on the tailgate near the bottle opener and tucking them in the pocket so that the table could sit flush. (was not in instructions)
I still need to run power to the light but I have the wiring through the loom and sitting in the back while I decide if I run it to the front or try tapping the rear 12v.
Build Quality is top notch! I’m planning on buying most of their rear end setup next. (Compressor bracket, spare battery, Compressor remote bracket, MASS Storage platform)
put my own side steps on too. Great for the kids and the old folk. (and maybe me too, I have short legs.)Just stock side steps
But no more throwing myself into the Jeep
She got some stickers and a stubby antenna too!!
Loctite?put my own side steps on too. Great for the kids and the old folk. (and maybe me too, I have short legs.)
anyway, hope you read some threads here and put the loctite on the threads.
.............Loctite?
Can be purchased, where. cause I will have the hubby do that too!!
I see amazon has it
Basically superglue for your nuts
I was going to put them on myself.............
Thank youYes.... loctite keeps the nuts from loosening.
iirc, it was the blue loctite. you put it on the bolts. helps it to hold better.I was going to put them on myself
But as I was putting the seat covers on I asked him to watch the install video
One trip to Lowe’s for the deeper socket
And I let him have fun
I am still assuming the glue is for the bolts though....right?
