This may be a dumb question but you like 7 degrees of positive caster? And I believe that if the flat spot at the axle is 90 degrees, then you have 6 degrees caster. So you bring it in one more degree? I ask because I am getting a lot of feedback coming from my steering.
Right...I went a degree beyond 90 on the flat spot next to the diff and also measured at knuckle...if you have shimmy over washboard or potholes I recommend taking your front control arms and lengthening them another 1/4 inch at a time until it goes away...Don't be afraid of going a bit over 6 degrees every jeep is slightly different. good luck! Make sure your track bar is torqued and not moving back and forth either of course.

Hello, this is great. Thank you. I'm looking to connect this info to an "official" source. Do you have this or know where I can find the source? I need this for insurance purposes and am afraid that they'll reject this info because it's not "official".

Thanks

Why does the insurance care about specs?

Why does the insurance care about specs?
During the repairs by the body shop they did an alignment and said it was good to go. As soon as I drove it after receiving it back I noticed it was pulling to the right. I then took it back and the body shop and the insurance company basically said "sorry, the spec sheet says it's aligned. We can't help you." In actuality, the body shop used the incorrect measurements to begin with.

This is one small part of the problem i'm dealing with and just want to be able to provide correct specs from an official source so I can get them to do the repairs correctly without me paying out of pocket.

Asking for a friend ;-D... so if they did an alignment on my JL with JK specs could that cause wobble?
