Installed last night and Check Engine light came on first thing this morning.

Will have to run code to determine issue. JL Tazer doesn't pull CEL codes.
Please make sure the valve on the drain is closed and all of the fittings are tight! And please let us know what the code reads when you're able to pull it.

Talked to Mishimoto Tech. They said it's more than likely a vacuum leak on one of the lines. Tightened up all the clamps a little extra and cleared the code. Been through 3 ignition cycles today and probably 25 miles. No codes.

The catch can is well put together and comes nicely packaged.

It’s not blow by is how the pcv system works.. on steep angles it dumps in the cylinders and smokes out.. seen lots of jks and jls do it
That can't be healthy for your engine!!!

Installed mine on Sunday. No issues. The install was pretty easy as well. The only part I wasn't sure on.. I felt like I should have used Teflon tape for the bottom fitting.

Hey @McCloude the bottom fitting is NPT, so it's self sealing as long as it's tight :)

Thanks!

Does this vold your warranty and do you really need this if you don't off-road? Also will it make sense to just get it after let's say 5 years?

Why would waiting 5 years make sense?

Don't see how it will void warranty based on what it does. Yes it really does work and yes it's for much more than off roading. I daily drive mine and empty this thing every 1k miles, that shows you how much vapor you are sucking in.
