Just ask @cosine he knows!
I also considered a Roxor
when it came in the US market as a 2018 model it was only 12999 but then it went to 16999
then the 2020 model is easily topping 30000 for a base automatic
ROXOR 2020 16,599.00 BASE MSRP 36,009.72 AS CONFIGURED
suddenly a 24K wrangler made total sense for me
Thank you for your replies I think I am gonna put a deposit for this ultra-cheap wrangler
:)
Nice, hope it ends up in your driveway! At that price, and where you live, there's really no downside IMO.

found a bare bones sport 2-door JL
the only option is the the much coveted 8-speed auto
MSPR 31450 selling for 24000 out the door (doc destination is included tax is extra)
What do you guys think ? that's almost 23.7% off MSRP
will I be missing the AC ? here in NE (ME)
Depends if this a 2018 0r 2019? Have you considered a used low milage JL with A/C in the same price range?

I took a look at the average temps for your area and it looks like Aug is your warmest month with average high temps around 80 degrees. You probably can get away without the A/C depending on your tolerance for heat and humidity. You know best.

My only concern would be how long you plan on driving it and if you have any plans to relocate to a area with warmer climate? It will be a hard sell if you move anyplace that has higher average temps or humidity. You will basically save on the front end now but probably loose in the back end if you ever sell. None of this matters if you don't plan on selling or moving.

Sounds like the dream. All the extra crap on mine keeps breaking or never worked right anyway. Offer $20k and see how far down they’ll go.

It's a great deal but for resale I'd probably find a used '19 that can be had for the same price with AC. As others have suggested, it WILL be hard to sell without AC.

Geezzz for that kind of money I'd buy two, that way you can rotate them in when stuff starts to fail. Or better yet, one to drive and one to build.

Its mine yay :)
Can't be worse than on my motorcycle with all the leathers, helmet etc.
now I need to figure out how to get it from Florida to ME
Fly down and drive back. OR you can cut about 900 miles off the driving if you put your Wrangler on the Amtrak Auto Train. It goes from FL to DC. Then drive the rest of the way back from DC to Naples ME.

It is probably too late now, but there was a dealer in the LA area selling base models with A/C and manual trans for 25k. I was gonna jump on it, but my wife refuses to learn to drive manual and we already have a manual car, so I spoiled her by getting a sport S with all the bells and whistles. You got a good deal, but that's because it doesn't have A/C :CWL:. I had an XJ with a broken A/C in Venezuela when I was a teenager for about 3 years. My friend had a 1980's F series Toyota cruiser with no A/C. You'll be fine, since you can take the top off.

cheapest I have found was a 23K manual + AC at dealer in Atlanta
also yellow which was little too extreme for me
I used the auto leverage to "convince" my wife that we need to replace a manual miata that sits mostly unused by her
of course i will never get it of it - way too much fun for what the car is worth now :)
