I have a hi lift jack and ordered the rear roll bar mount. After three months Quadratec can't get it in stock so I bailed.

Now back to square one. If you have your Jack mounted please post a pic. I need ideas. Thanks.

I’ve got the roll bar mount, ordered directly from dominion off-road. Works great. Maybe try getting it directly. No wait when I purchased.

I did the same. Also trimmed the factory plastic to fit back in place.

I used this one too. I used a fiber door casing shim pushed in between the shaft and the slide to eliminate any rattling.

^ this is a must-do! I also added a plastic washer in one of the bolts (my jack is 25 years old, may have more play). With those changes and the neoprene Hi-Lift brand “boot” cover, it’s nearly silent. Without those mods, it’s annoying as heck.

Mine has literally been sitting in the corner of my garage since 1999. I won it in a raffle and have never used it. Maybe I'll take it out someday and have a look at it. To be honest, it scares the hell out of me.

+1, i did this same way, ordered directly from Dominion. Its not introduced new noise inside either. i did trim the pieces and put them back over the jack mount though, i'll try to get a picture.

I trimmed the pieces and put them back too. I just took these as photos of the install.

I was amazed that I haven’t had a single solitary rattle and I didn’t use any shims, pads, or anything to dampen noise.

Had this one on my JKU, do you still have to remove the jack to lower the soft top?

I don’t have a soft top, only hard top. Not necessary to remove it for hard top removal.

I have a "JACK CASE" for mine, but before that I always just put the HiLift(foot off) under the rear seat (JLU--no problem-

You should NEVER mount it OUTSIDE !
