No lamer than not deleting to help save wear/tear on our planet. I am usually not a tree-hugger, but this will be a way different place for our grandchildren if we don't do something soon.

It was warmer (65 degrees) in Antarctica this week than Phoenix.
If you're really concerned, moved to a city and do not own a personal vehicle, fly on an airplane, eat meat, or utilize concrete.

Oh God, not this. If you truly buy-in to climate change, leaving the DEF system on your unnecessary oversized truck isn't "doing something about it".
I made a calm statement. Starting with "Oh God, not this" is stepping up the tone unnecessarily. Keep it in your pants.

And...I do apologize to the group for introducing a polarizing subject. That was inappropriate

You do realize it's summer in Antarctica right now and that temps in the 60s are common, right?

"Keep it in your pants" is stepping up the tone. Moving on, your position is ridiculous. If you buy in to vehicles causing climate change and ruining the lives of your grandchildren, I would hope you'doing more than than simply leaving the DEF system on your giant oil burner.

65 is the highest in recorded history. I am now signing off on this subject.

Global warming aside. Diesel exhaust has additional concerns like causing cancer. That’s my choice not to delete unless strictly off-road where it’s use will be greatly diminished. Until an all electric Wrangler is offered. :)

There are a lot of debates on this forum, some more heated than others, but they are on topic. I mentioned, very subtly, a non-Jeep concern and quickly “atoned” in a followup post. Not because I was quickly rebuked, but because it was the right thing to do. I come here to share and get information; not to create angst.

Your response is to continue to pile on. Well done.

I was hearing this garbage for last 50 ears. We all die in 10 years if we don’t start eating dirt and live like in 1700. Acid rain, ozone hole, global worming, climate change. I am 72 now. It is warm in summers and cold in winters like it was in millions of years. Ignore this crap and enjoy your life. It is damn short.

Not quite yet, but it pulls at me from time to time. When I start running the Diesel on used french fry oil, you'll know that I'm completely over the edge. :)
