I have some good news. I removed the 25lb stock bumper and replaced it with an 80lb bumper and 90+lb winch. In the 134 miles I’ve driven since then, I am getting 25.8 MPG in my four-door two liter!

We’ve had some fairly calm days here lately. On a windy day, I cannot either. As for hills - none here.

Haha, I wasn’t doubting you. Just jealous- I get 17-18 on a good day!

Frankly, I’m pretty surprised my MPG is so good. When I hit the interstate, I will be more in line with what you’re getting. By the way, sorry for not linking up. I’ve had a string of bad health days lately.

Here’s my average MPGs over the last four days of driving with the extra weight.

The wind (or lack of wind) is a HUGE factor. In calm air I hit 25mpg all the time. Throw in a real wind and it's more like 18mpg at best.

I have the factory steel bumpers and just added a winch, I really haven't noticed any change in MPG although I do want to add a level kit or 2" lift because I'd swear the front did drop a tiny bit.

The weight is not the issue when it comes to MPG, it's when you lift a vehicle or add bigger tires (more rotational mass).

Did the factory steel bumper accept a winch no problem? What winch did you add? I ordered the steel bumpers on mine.
