Finally, after waiting what felt like forever after ordering(really was only 12.5 weeks) I took delivery on my 2021 Diesel rubicon 10/7. The order was a fully loaded rubicon msrp just under 65k. Just got the build more or less completed. Got the lift and suspension bits all done by the guys at Bull Run 4x4. Can't recommend them highly enough. Honest, professional, and really good at what they do.

The ATS stabilizer isn't a straight bolt in given the 2" Aluminum tie rod. on a stock car the ATS stabilizer bolts in just like factory, problem is that it still hangs low. the Doetsch tie rod and drag link kit you can add the stabilizer flip kit which includes a 2" clamp for the tie rod. problem is the through shaft stabilizer mounts with a different bracket but to the same OEM locations. so the guys over at Bull run fabbed and welded up a bracket so it is flipped higher above the tie rod. I'm leaving out all the little things like powder coating, tpms, and all the smaller details. but it rides fantastic could not be happier with how it turned out. And I know the jam nut on the drag link isn't torqued these were mid install pictures. haven't had a chance to take new ones, as I've been too busy driving the jeep.

I was averaging about 27.2 highway miles, with the 37's I'm getting 25-27 highway, 23-24city. next up are skids and diff covers. Huge thank you goes out to @BullRun4x4 and Travis@TriCityJeep

What does accutune do to the fox shocks?
They custom tune the valving specific to your needs and vehicle weight. These shocks are adjustable on the compression side for high and low speed but I believe the flutter stacks and rebound is also tuned.

Got my rock hard angled down sliders on. Took my time and didn’t have any issue getting the body bolts out. Next up full undercloak system with diff covers and diff sliders.

Looking good! Do you know what length and/or the model numbers on the Fox 2.5's that was installed with your 3.5 Gamechanger lift? I'm contemplating a lift/shock setup similar to yours somewhere down the road.

yes they are the accutune fox performance elite. 3.5-4" lift shock.
here are the part no.'s: front FOX-883-26-051
rear FOX-883-26-055

fair warning these do ride firmer and are intended for more serious off road use. if mainly for on road the 2.0 or the 3k per axle 3.0 bypass shocks will ride better. the 3.0 will need a good bit of tuning to find the sweet spot which i'm sure accutune can help with. the 2.0's are plug and play. the 2.5 accutune does tune internally as well as you have the dual compression adjustments

Thanks for the honest real world info on the ride quality. That would be something I would be concerned with. My current setup runs Fox 2.0 IFP's and they ride quite nice. I had also looked at Accutune's Fox 2.0 remote reservoir shocks. Were they the 2.0's you're referring to? I'm wondering if they might be a better choice for me than the 2.5's because the JL is daily driven by my wife.

The Metalcloak 3.5 Gamechanger seems to be the way to go for 37" tires. Your's looks awesome. I'm just trying to match up a set of shocks to the lift because I'm not really interested in Metalcloak's shock offerings.

i personally really like the fox performance elite 2.5's. that being said i also like a firm ride as my other car is a supra. i couldn't be happier with the ride of the 2.5's. for some it may be too firm but it is very composed over rough terrain, i would say it's not at all a bone jarring ride but it's a well damped firm ride that's not bouncy. really tough call on which one's to get. if money is no object i'd say go with the 3.0's the 2.0 price point is really attractive and i can say for sure that ryan and the guys at accutune know their stuff. Also keep in mind every shock other than the IFP shocks are tuned before they get to you and are also rebuildable. they offer 3 different tunes adventure, dual sport and trail. i have the dual sport which is their middle tune. i'm sure the same shocks in the adventure tune would be softer.

Jeep looks awesome, Ray! I like the bronze wheels, but the Mrs. says no (though somehow she loves the look on the 392... think she has Hemi envy).

I too am looking at the MC 2.5 or 3.5 as well as the Fox 2.0 or 2.5. Would you be able to give me a measurement from the ground to a body point? Say bottom of frame rail just behind front control arm bracket? Or really anywhere that you can easily describe for me to take similar measurement on mine (I'm running 37s stock with minimal rub in rear wheel well). I have 39" from ground to black edge of front fender on stock KO2s and 41" with the 37s. I prefer to keep my center of gravity lower (and ease ingress) but also have some concerns with the standard (non-diesel specific) springs from MC.

Cheers!

No issues I can see or feel yet. Flexed out has plenty of clearance
Cool. Wasn’t sure the shaft had room at full turn. Super nice rig bud. Looks great.
