We hate to keep making examples of crashes involving JL’s that will likely be totaled, but we do so to highlight the silver lining in all these reports — how well the Jeep JL have protected their occupants.
This latest crash involves a JLWF member and his JLUR which was struck hard by a careless and unlicensed driver. As reported by the owner, the Jeep performed amazing despite the serious collision. It was hit hard and both driver front and side airbags deployed, along with the passenger airbag. The owner and passenger walked away with only minor bruises.
