Those waiting for their 2.0L turbo Wranglers will be happy to see that the 2.0L turbo engine option is now a selectable option on Jeep.com’s JL Wrangler builder. Although actual ordering via dealers has been available since February, the addition of the 2.0L engine option on Jeep.com reveals some new details for the turbo Wrangler model.
One interesting spec is its Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) is 5,350 lbs, up 100 lbs, likely because of the 2.0L turbo engine’s higher torque specs (295 LB-FT, to go along with 270 HP). Other details include a fuel filler cap standard.
