This just in — the 2.0L turbo engine option is NOW available for ordering on the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL!
Ticking the 4-cylinder turbo engine box will cost you $1000 MSRP ($890 invoice) more than the standard base 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine. Combined with the required 8-speed auto transmission it makes for a $3000 upcharge from the base model (manual transmission) configuration.
The 2.0L turbo engine is rated at 268 HP (vs 285 HP in the Pentastar), while its torque figure is rated at 295 LB-FT (vs 260 LB-FT in the Pentastar). The EPA has not yet released its official MPG figures for the 2.0L turbo engine.
Now let’s see what the tuners can do!
