Marchionne: 2018 Jeep Wrangler (JL) May Debut at 2017 LA Auto Show in November

FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne has given us Wrangler faithfuls a clue as to when the JL Wrangler may debut. Speaking with the Toledo Blade, he has shared that its reveal may come at the 2017 LA Auto Show! The 2017 LA Auto Show press days are scheduled for November 29-30 which comes in the same month as JL/JLU Wrangler production is scheduled to begin.

In the interview, Marchionne admitted that keeping the car under wraps for long would not be easy and that they “can’t cover them up with masking tape. The car [Wrangler] is too distinctive. We may show it in Los Angeles in November and then launch it officially here in January [2018].”

His use of the word “may” likely means that the new Wrangler’s debut hasn’t been booked yet for the LA show, so it may still debut at another show or event. Stay tuned…
