Ralph Gilles, Head of Product Design for FCA North America just posted an image on social media showing a close-up view of an unknown vehicle wearing the familiar black-and-white vinyl camouflage used on prototype vehicles, including the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL test vehicles we’ve been seeing for over a year.
Captioned with the image, Mr. Gilles writes, “Part of the ‘Art’ of vehicle development… the pre launch CAMO package.”
Given the JL production launch timeline we posted just days ago, this raises the exciting possibility and question of whether the pictured vehicle is the next-generation Wrangler. If so, this would indicate that FCA will begin officially teasing the JL Wrangler any day now.
