I'm thinking the rear panel comes off, then the side panels can slide out.

I think it uses Magnets, they're the tech of the future you know... Plus they're Rare Earth Magnets with Healing powers aligning your Chakras and improving your Chi flow when you can't get the regenerative powers of the Solar Rays. :sun:

I believe this is exactly how it would look without the rear panel in place and with half doors

Nope. So much nope. B pillars are pretty much mandated by the gub'ment for side collision safety.

I'm sure you know that the B pillar of the hardtop removes along with the entire top. The structural b pillar remains on the sport bar.

I don't think that concept was built for no reason.

My guess is that at first glance, its easy to miss the sprts bar as it blends right into the black seat giving the illusion that there is no b pillar at all.

Yep this photo makes it more obvious to me.

Here is more proof to my theory that the soft top my come as a hybrid of sorts with hard size panels. I don't think the sides and back are now part of the top.

With this image of the hard top you can clearly see there are 3 pcs making up just the top (not including the side windows or rear section)

EDIT: Its also why the hard top in the options list is still listed as a (3pc)

so... in your theory, the sides and back dont count as the "top" but the sides and the back still count as a top with a soft top?

I dont think the sides and back count as part of the top any longer. Just not 100% how it works with the soft tops. The Admin posted that the following top options will be available:

  • ST2 - Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top
  • STB - Premium Black Soft Top (No Description Available)
  • STJ - Black Power Soft Top (scheduled for production beginning May 14, 2018 according to our recently revealed timeline)
So maybe its something like this:

  • ST2 - Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top - Hybrid soft top with hard side panels (think renegade style, like the power top by manual) Sunrider says to me top off but not necessary 100% opne.
  • STB - Premium Black Soft Top (No Description Available) - Traditional Soft Top
  • STJ - Black Power Soft Top - Top shown in the spy photo I posted above again with hard again with some type of hybrid structure)
