Apparently FCA wants to further differentiate the two Wrangler models by model year since the JK will continue on until March 2018. Just sayin' since I still see many referring to the JL as a 2018 (tho reported to mainly be 2019 but 2018 will have a short run for JL; like a month)

So looks like I won't get the JL until 2020MY

No the JL will 100% be a 2018. 2019s will not come out till fall of 2018 (Basically a year from now)

This is incorrect (except the part about JK continuing to March 2018).

The 2019MY Job 1 is currently scheduled for October 2018 so the 2018 JL will be a full model year run.

See the 2018-19 JL production timeline for more details. It's already been pulled forward two weeks and there are likely to be other changes, but certainly not a 1-month 2018MY JL run.
