The rubicons come from the factory with caster that is already too low. Add a lift and it gets pretty bad. Between that and the fact that the Mopar lift control arms are 1/4” longer than stock I’d find a new shop or do your own wrenching. The guy is at best misinformed.
I would not trust that the dealer knows where caster should be on a lifted Jeep. Measure is yourself or take it to an independent alignment shop to have it checked. Depending on the lift/components your caster may not be adjustable. If that is the case it's likely way too low. You want it to be...
Really? That’s definitely not the deal I got. The SS shafts weren’t available at the time but it was $200 and change for the rebuild and IFP conversion. It’s probably the new stainless shaft that’s jacking the price up but I wasn’t charged any labor for the rebuild/conversion. You might try...
I’m not really sure what you expect Dynatrac to do. You have a noise that you can’t even pinpoint on an axle that’s out of warranty and you want them to do what exactly?
Yeah I would open up the backlash ever so slightly and re-run a pattern. You are really close. If you thin the paint more and add more resistance while turning you should get a little clearer pattern as well.
You’re going to need $1500-$2000 if you’re looking to replace shocks and springs. Front track bar likely needs addressing as well. Are you airing down your tires when off-road?
