  2. If Chinese company buys Jeep, will Wrangler be affected?

Buying Jeep would take away sales from existing products made by cross town rivals. Jeep alone is the only thing of real value in terms of brand. Dodge and Chrysler would be shuttered
  3. Any speculation on horsepower / torque numers for the Updated 3.6?

Ethanol is less power per gallon than regular gasoline. So adding Ethanol actually pulls power out of the vehicle system. It is also horrible in small engines.
  4. If Chinese company buys Jeep, will Wrangler be affected?

But a large financial backing funds R&D, Technology Leaps and can raise the bar for all of Jeeps products. Money could infuse more small jeeps to offset the CAFE penalties for buying a ted blooded Jeep. I understand the feelings about not selling but eventually Jeep will be sold to someone. A...

  10. Selec-Trac full time 4x4 4WD system discussions

My KJ was an early model with the 3.7L with the 4 speed out of the Dodge Ram (two 2nd gear ratios). In 2003? They switched transmissions to a more efficient unit. The joys of early adapters! I saw around a 1MPG drop when left in Full Time (AWD) mode versus regular 2WD. Which is why I just...
  11. Selec-Trac full time 4x4 4WD system discussions

First Post: 4WD Part time is 4WD high. The T-Case is splitting power all the time without the clutch. Binding of the wheels will occur on dry roads or high traction surfaces 4WD Full time is also 4WD high but with a spring loaded clutch to allow for slip on dry pavement I had 114K miles in...
