  1. JL in Europe

You made me feel a bit better for choosing a Trailhawk a while ago and not wait for JL :) The latest reports about JL issues are a bit worrying, indeed. Trailhawk is a really nice package, so definitely take it for a test drive on and off the road. For me, the only downsides with GC is the...

  3. JL in Europe

Wow, nice activity since my last vist. A personal opinion after I've watched the pricing policy in Romania for the past 2 years: after all this "euphoria" will fade away, Wrangler will most probably have huge rebates at dealers. I'm talking about 10.000 EUR or even more if you know how to...
  4. JL in Europe

For me the last week was a struggle trying to make a choice. My mind tells me that I should take the GC offer and my heart is telling me to wait for JL. I went today to a different dealer trying to find out more about JL. Nobody knows anything. Although I understand the reason behind it, I...
  5. JL in Europe

I'm really close in pulling the trigger for a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, so please keep me from doing this by providing some new information about pricing and availability! :) At the moment it's really tempting because I can get the GC now and then go have some fun. And it looks like it's going...
  6. JL in Europe

How are these cars imported? Is it legal?
  7. JL in Europe

The NL website also states that the prices will be available in August :(
  8. JL in Europe

The right corner of the front bumper makes me think that the plastic piece between the bumper and fender is removable In fact i’m willing to bet it’s removable
  9. JL in Europe

See this thread https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/removed-my-jl-sport-euro-bumper-pieces.3000/ . It seems those parts are removable.
  10. JL in Europe

You should thank Biedert, not me ;)
  11. JL in Europe

I've read the press release again. I may be wrong here, but my feeling is that they are trying to (re)use terms in different contexts. In the press release they are referring the available 4x4 systems as a whole (i.e. transfer case, lockers, etc) as rock-track and command-track, while the...
  12. JL in Europe

Ah, one more from me if it's possible and you don't mind (btw, thanks a lot for willing to take "our voice" with you in there): would it be possible to order a Wrangler in Europe with factory lift kit and/or other original mechanical add-ons?
  13. JL in Europe

As many detailed pictures as possible (I'm more interested in the Rubicon version) :) And although I doubt they will give price information, it worth asking a question about pricing.
  14. JL in Europe

On Sahara the only difference seem to be the presence of the air vents, isn't it? The Rubicon hood looks the same to me from the press release pictures. Only the fenders are higher on the US version.
  15. JL in Europe

From these pictures it looks like the fenders on Rubicon sit lower than the ones on Sahara ?!?!? [later edit] Actually it may just be an optical illusion given the fact that "Rubicon" is written above the bonnet line
  16. JL in Europe

And some pictures from the EU press release
  17. JL in Europe

Who's going to be present at Geneva International Motor Show? It would be nice to have some pictures and information directly from the show. I really hope they will not push orders and delivery in EU for end of 2018 - beginning of 2019.
  18. Importing a Wrangler from US to Europe

The the question becomes: how can I import a JLU from Canada :)
  19. Importing a Wrangler from US to Europe

That's a bit sad, but thank you both for your replies!
  20. Importing a Wrangler from US to Europe

After the latest news about Wrangler being available in Europe sometime in September, I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with importing a Jeep into EU. How hard it is to bring a JL in EU? And is there any chance to order a Jeep in US with all the dials in metric system (I don't...
