Congrats! Maybe I will see you there! This will be my second time, and I'm driving from Vancouver Island, BC. The drive is horribly long but well worth it. Bring something to float on as there's nothing much else to do in the heat. The entertainment and food are amazing.
Did I hear correctly in the video that the PIN feature is triggered when the door is opened or closed? What if I want to get in the vehicle to get something out? I don't want to have to enter the PIN for that.
My point is that there is no reason to buy a mechanical lock for your ODBII port unless you have the ODBII security unplugged for the Tazer.
However, I read your post, and YIKES! That's some scary stuff there.
I thought our odb2 ports were encrypted? Isn’t that why the tazer has to be installed before that encryption device? If thats the case how can be hacked? Or is this lock for people that have the tazer installed?

I’m getting this strange chirp noise when I start to back up and turn wheels to the right. just one small chirp but it happens every time. Sometimes I can even feel it a little. I think the driver side UJoint may be starting to go but it looks fine. What do you guys think?
